GEN3 built our home in Longs Peak Farms in Berthoud, Co during March-October 2020. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Roy is very proactive and organized in his planning. Because of this we did not experience delays or price increases during the building process. We closed within 2 weeks of the estimated closing date given to us at the beginning of our discussions! Roy and Kathy were wonderful to work with during the architectural design and finishings selection process. One of the first things we did with Roy was to ask that he flip the house layout to maximize our mountain view. He was very willing to accommodate that change. Kathy’s input in the finishings selection process was invaluable! She asked for our likes and dislikes and made suggestions accordingly. We believe the quality of our home is outstanding! The house feels snug, tight and is energy efficient. We continue to hear from friends and family how cozy and comfortable our home is, which is a wonderful compliment. We feel lucky to have had GEN3 as our builder and highly recommend them!

Personal statement on my experience: I chose to go with Gen 3 Homes to rebuild my house lost in the Marshall Fire because I wanted a builder that would support me end to end through the process. I experienced this from the first meeting we had onsite at my lot to discuss how we could maximize the space all the way to the day we closed on a move in ready home. What ultimately stood out was the support I received during the process. I always felt welcome to ask any question or brainstorm any idea. Regardless of the topic I was treated with respect and support.

Thomas completed a new build for us at 967 Arapahoe Cir Louisville, CO 80027. We started working together in January 2022. The new build consisted of touring other Gen 3 properties, deciding on architectural plans, everything that goes into building a home and additionally navigating the unique situation of working with myself/ insurance/ City of Louisville as this was a rebuild of our house that was destroyed in the Marshall Fire of December 2021. Not only did Thomas and Gen 3 build our house with the highest standards, but they really supported us through the building process and made a very difficult situation much easier. We highly recommend G3H if you are looking for a home builder. 

We engaged G3H after we lost our home in the Marshall Fire in 2021.  From the very beginning we found them to be competent, caring and kind.   They were clear and transparent regarding expectations and commitments.  They gave realistic timelines for the home build and stuck to them.  They did what they said they’d do when they said they’d do it.

They managed all aspects of our build even handling surveying and soil report services.  They had subcontractors with whom they’ve had long and stable relationships.  This gave us confidence in subcontractor abilities, and this proved to be true.

They worked closely with our architect ensuring the design fit with the contours of our lot and conformed to our vision.   

They handled interactions with the, often difficult, requirements of the City of Louisville.  They were particularly sensitive to our emotional state after the fire and went above and beyond to accommodate our design preferences and were very understanding with changes we’d make, even late in the building process.   

We feel very fortunate that we found G3H (and Thomas Wright) as our home builders.  We’re in our new home and couldn’t be happier with it.
